Our Impact

A New Resource for the Parkinson’s Community

The Capital District Parkinson’s Center is the most significant initiative in our organization’s history.
In partnership with the Capital District YMCA, this dedicated center will serve as a hub for individuals living with Parkinson’s and their families.

Capital District Parkinson’s Center

98 Wolf Road, Colonie, NY

  • The Center provides:
  • Movement-based therapy and exercise programs
  • Educational workshops
  • Support groups
  • Wellness programming
  • Community connection

Most importantly — all services are offered completely free of charge to individuals living with Parkinson’s.

This center exists because of our supporters. Every golf outing, pickleball tournament, sponsorship, and donation has helped bring this vision to life.

Advancing Local Research

We proudly support Parkinson’s research at Albany Medical Center’s Neurosciences Institute, where physicians and researchers continue working toward breakthroughs that give hope to families across our region.

Funds raised help advance research efforts and expand understanding of Parkinson’s disease.

Supporting Regional Patient Services

We also support organizations such as Help for Parkinson’s, which provides local patients with access to daily living tools, education, and resources that empower them to live well today and tomorrow.
